Presented by REGENT UNIVERSITY Start and finish at 24th Street Park Virginia Beach Oceanfront Pre-registration required to participate. Viewing is free and open to the public. Race down Atlantic Avenue to the Rudee Inlet as spectators and family members cheer you on. Enjoy the camaraderie and the festivities in the 24th Street Park after the race, and the fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean from the park. With plenty of food, drink and random prize drawings, the post-race party is fun for the participants and their guests! NOT READY FOR AN 8K? TRY THE 5K COURSE! For more information call 757.498.0215. Beach Street, USA is one more fun thing about Virginia Beach. Unique to the
city by the sea, Beach Street is a summer-long entertainment program designed
to put a smile on the faces of families visiting the resort as well as those
who make it their home. Each warm summer evening is highlighted by festive entertainers
along 8 blocks of Atlantic Avenue. On street corners and on several side streets,
musicians, magicians, jugglers and clowns spread their special magic. It is
one more feature presented by the City of Virginia Beach as a way of saying
“Hello, there! We’re glad you’re here!”
