Neptune Festival’s Symphony by the Sea Concert Series makes its grand return in 2024 for the 13th Season of concerts!

Located in 31st Street Park at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, all concerts are a FREE musical offering to residents and visitors. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, as the concerts are well-attended and will fill the park.

Celebrate something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue as the VSO performs beloved music that’s become the soundtrack of so many beautiful wedding ceremonies. Enjoy selections like Trumpet Voluntary and Pachelbel’s Canon, even some Kool & the Gang you might have danced to at the reception, and, of course, Mendelssohn’s Wedding March.

Once Upon a Symphony

Explore the connection between music and storytelling as the VSO fills the night air with some of the most treasured orchestral works inspired by literature, film, fairy tales, and more! Join us to be transported by stories from Swan Lake to Man of La Mancha and adventures from Superman to Indiana Jones!

VIP Memberships can be purchased in 2024 for the full season of concerts for an early-bird price of $175/person until March 15th. After March 15th, the price is $195/person.

VIP Members receive the following benefits:

  • Reserved Seating for all 6 shows
  • Valet Parking for all 6 shows
  • Pre-Concert Receptions, including light hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Complimentary popcorn and bottled water during concerts
  • Two ticket vouchers per member for an additional VSO concert of your choice
  • Two ticket vouchers per member for an additional Symphonicity concert of your choice
  • Rain dates as needed on Aug 1, Aug 29, Sept 5
