Symphony by the Sea Concert Rescheduled to September 19th

Final Neptune Festival Symphony by the Sea Concert Rescheduled to September 19th
Inclement Weather Anticipated Due to Hurricane Dorian’s Expected Path

September 3, 2019- Virginia Beach

Due to expected inclement weather, the final concert of the Neptune Festival Symphony by the Sea series has been moved from September 5th to September 19th. “Despite our pull with King Neptune, it appears Hurricane Dorian’s wild ride north will have some impact on Virginia Beach, so we feel this is the wisest course of action,” said President & CEO of the Neptune Festival, Nancy Creech. “In addition to the September 19th concert, we hope everyone will come out to celebrate beach life September 27th through 29th at the Neptune Festival’s 46th Annual Boardwalk Weekend—the largest outdoor party in Virginia!”

Concert guests are encouraged to come early to the newly rescheduled September 19th event which will feature the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, as these free concerts are well-attended and typically fill the 31st Street Park at 31st Street and the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy beautiful music by the oceanfront under twinkling stars.
