“Unfold” | Melineige Beauregard, Canada
I unfold myself…
“Time” | Karlis Ile, Latvia
What is now old once was young. It seems that the future is new, but actually makes us old. Time gives us all and also takes everything.
“The Color Purple” | Brian Wigelsworth, Florida
A tribute to one of the finest artists of our age. “Someone I grew up with as a young man in Minneapolis. A man who dared to be different, who challenged the establishment, and ended up losing his actual ‘name’ for several years because of it. A man who, at the age of 17, cut his first record, and playing every instrument and doing all the dubbing himself…a record that still holds up today. A true musical genius that passed away before his time.” - P. Roger Nelson
“Miracle of Life” | Matt Deibert, New Jersey
I recently was blessed with my first grandchild. Rose Marie Deibert 9/7/16. A few verses came to mind… “Children are a gift from the Lord, the fruit of the womb, a reward. Ps 127:3, For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. Ps 139:13, Before I created you in the womb, I knew you. Jer 1:5, A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. John 16:21. My sculpture represents Life and the Joy that follows anguish in our lives.

Nona was one of the Parcae, the three personifications of destiny in Roman mythology, and the goddess of pregnancy. The Roman equivalent of the Greek Clotho, she spun the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle. Nona, whose name means “ninth”, was called upon by pregnant women in their ninth month when the child was due to be born.
