"The Harmony Balance"

Ilya Filimontsev, Russia

My sculpture is an attempt to emphasize the importance of balance between different elements, understanding and accepting opposites to create a holistic perception. This can manifest itself in various forms, such as light and shadow, joy and sadness, activity and calm, good and evil. Awareness of the interrelationship and influence of all things on each other helps to achieve harmony. In sculpture, the harmony balance is achieved through the combination of forms, creating a peaceful and inspiring space.

"Biometrics"

Vadim Bandarets, Belarus

Our face, fingerprints, iris are unique physical attributes, but in the digital world they turn into just a code, a set of bytes. Biometrics turns our body into a digital key that can be stolen or counterfeited. Is it possible to lose your identity by losing this data? And is it possible to deceive recognition algorithms by changing the structure of the face and transforming the appearance? So where is the line between a person and his digital reflection?

"Enlighten the Darkness"

Jonathan Bouchard, Canada
Dmitry Klimenko, Russia

While light is a form of energy that can be detected and studied, darkness lacks a tangible property of its own; it’s merely the lack of that light energy. You cannot “shine” darkness on anything, only obscure light, because darkness has no independent existence.

"Disturbing Romance"

Marie-Line Gagne, Canada
Isabelle Gasse, Canada

Do you feel, traveler, the scent of this sweet nectar flowing within me as I shiver to the melody of your buzzing hum? Are you not tired of searching restlessly for meaning in your life, being misunderstood and rejected? Lean on me, I need you in a way no one else ever could. Be my guess, let me guide you. You’re my vital purpose, I will be your home, let’s be part of each other and let’s consume our love.

"Run, Run, Run!"

Thomas Koet, USA
Nikolai Torkhov, Russia

Life is short, slow down so you don’t waste it! This sculpture is about the busy times in our lives, where we rush, day in, day out just to get through the week. It is so easy to forget to take a breath and try to enjoy our lives but we might miss out if we don’t take a break every now and then.
