Young Collectors: Art Gallery for Kids

3rd Annual Young Collectors Art Gallery presented by Runnymede
In partnership with the Neptune Festival and The Creative Well Arts Foundation

This beloved Neptune Festival tradition introduces children ages 6-12 to the joy of collecting original artwork. Thanks to the generosity of artists, children can purchase an original work of art for just $5 – often the very first piece in their personal collection. In keeping with the spirit of the gallery, we ask that parents wait outside of the tent while your young collector browses. Continue the fun with a kids art making activity led by the Creative Well Arts Foundation!

Every donated painting, drawing, print, sculpture, or mixed media artwork helps inspire creativity, build confidence, and foster a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Together, we’re helping create the next generation of artists, collectors, and art lovers.

ARTWORK DONATIONS
If you are an artist interested in supporting the mission of The Young Collectors Art Gallery by donating an original artwork, please bring your donated piece to the Neptune Festival Art & Craft Show table on Friday, September 25, 2026.  Artwork will also be accepted at The Young Collectors tent now located in the lobby of the Virginia Beach Convention Center.

The Young Collectors Art Gallery will benefit The Creative Well Arts Foundation’s arts programming and community building.
The Creative Well Arts Foundation supports artists throughout their lifelong journey by providing accessible studio spaces, community connection, therapeutic arts education, and gallery opportunities to create, grow, heal, and thrive.
