The highly acclaimed show, one of the highlights of the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival Boardwalk weekend, ranked third out of the top 200 art shows nationally in the Fine Art and Design category in the 2018 200 Best Issue of Sunshine Artist Magazine.
“Virginia is for Wine Lovers,” and on September 15th and 16th, make that Virginia Wine. Virginia’s leading vineyards will be at Neptune’s Park at 31st and Atlantic on the oceanfront for the Neptune Festival’s 22nd Annual Fall Wine Festival. Guests will not only enjoy samplings from over 70 of the Commonwealth’s best-loved varieties, but will have the opportunity to meet the talented vintners helping build Virginia’s reputation for quality wines.
The Neptune Festival will be partnering with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra to officially introduce the VSO’s new assistant conductor to the Hampton Roads music community when beachfront musical strains again fill the air at the free Symphony by the Sea Concert Series this summer.
Under the watchful eye of King Neptune, beachfront pops will once again fill the air with six magical evenings of music by the sea as the Neptune Festival’s Symphony by the Sea concert series, presented by The Breeden Company, gets underway in July.
Virginia Beach, VA: The Virginia Beach Neptune Festival announces the addition of eight new members to its Board of Directors. Each will serve a three-year renewable term. A total of 40 area business leaders make up the Neptune Festival Board. Festival President Nancy Creech made the announcement.
The 44th Annual Virginia Beach Neptune Festival is pleased to announce King Neptune’s Tritons for the 2017 festival. As part of the Neptune Festival Royal Court, the Tritons are nominated from among the business community and serve as aides to King Neptune and ambassadors of goodwill for the Neptune Festival and Virginia Beach during festival events throughout the year. The following eight Tritons have been selected for 2017.
